01About this policy

This privacy policy explains how Saudi Shooter-سعودي شوتر handles your information.

On the App Store the game is published under the Apple Developer account of Otmane El Moussati, who is the director of Picoli Ltd. On Google Play it is published by Picoli Ltd itself. These are the same developer: an individual Apple Developer account, and the company he runs.

Picoli Ltd, trading as Picoli Games, is a company incorporated in England and Wales (company number 12626240) with its registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, London, Greater London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Picoli Ltd and Otmane El Moussati are jointly responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

02The short version

  • No account, no sign-in and no password. You only choose a player name.
  • No ads, no advertising ID, no analytics and no in-app purchases.
  • Your player name and chat messages are shared with the other players in your match, and your voice with your teammates, while you play.
  • Voice chat is team-only and live only. We do not record or store it.
  • Your settings and progress stay on your device.

03What the game collects

Your player name. You choose a name the first time you play. It is saved on your device and shown to other players in the lobby, the scoreboard, the kill feed and chat. Please do not use your real name if you would rather it was not seen by others.

Match data. Your team, position, score and in-match statistics are exchanged live with the other players in your match so the game can work. Your own stats and settings are saved on your device.

Text chat. Messages you send in a room are delivered to the other players in that room. They pass through Photon's servers and are not stored by us. Messages in the lobby chat are kept by Photon for a short time, so that players who join the lobby can see the most recent ones.

Voice chat. While your microphone is on, your voice is streamed live to your teammates, never to the other team, during a team match. It is not recorded, not saved and not listened to by us. The microphone is on by default in team matches; you can turn it off at any time with the microphone button in the match, or refuse the microphone permission entirely and keep playing. Free For All matches have no voice chat.

Connection data. To put you in a match, Photon handles your IP address, an in-game player ID and basic connection details such as your region and ping.

04What the game does not collect

Saudi Shooter has no accounts and no sign-in, so we never ask for your email address, password or date of birth. The game does not collect your contacts, photos, files or precise location, it shows no ads and does not access your device's advertising ID, and we have not added any analytics or crash-reporting service to it. There are no in-app purchases.

05Permissions

  • Microphone — only for voice chat with your teammates, and only while it is switched on (on by default in team matches; one tap turns it off). Refusing it does not stop you playing.
  • Internet and network state — the game is online multiplayer and needs a connection to run matches.

06Service providers

  • Photon (Exit Games GmbH) — real-time multiplayer, text chat and voice relay. Photon passes this traffic between players; matches run in the Photon region chosen in the lobby: the United Arab Emirates (Dubai) by default, or Europe (Amsterdam) or the United States (East).
  • Google Play and the Apple App Store — distribution of the game.
  • Unity Technologies — the engine the game is built on.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend legal claims.

07Where your information goes

We are based in the United Kingdom. Because matches run on Photon servers outside the UK — in the United Arab Emirates by default, or in the Netherlands or the United States if those regions are chosen — the live match traffic described above leaves the UK while you play. Where information leaves the UK or EEA we rely on adequacy regulations, or on standard contractual clauses together with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

08Children

Saudi Shooter is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. The game has open text and voice chat with other players. If you believe a child's information has been collected, contact privacy@picoli.uk and we will help.

09How long information is kept

We keep nothing about you on our own systems. Match traffic, in-match chat and voice are relayed live and are not stored after the match; recent lobby chat messages are kept by Photon for a short time. Your name, settings and stats stay on your device until you delete them or uninstall the game.

10Deleting your information

  • To delete your name, settings and stats, uninstall the game or clear its app data in your device's settings.
  • For anything else, email privacy@picoli.uk and we will respond within one month.

11Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time.

If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

12Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and say so here before a new version of the game is released.
