01Who we are

Picoli Games is a trading name of Picoli Ltd, a company incorporated in England and Wales with its registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, London, Greater London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. For the purposes of UK data protection law we are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

Picoli Ltd is run by its director, Otmane Elmoussati, who is responsible for how the company handles personal information.

02What this policy covers

This policy applies to this website and to the games Picoli Ltd publishes on Google Play and the App Store: رامي الصحراء (Rami Al Sahra – Desert Shooter), and Saudi Shooter, which is still in development. It explains what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with and what rights you have.

It does not cover the app stores, payment providers or social platforms you may reach our games through. Those services have their own privacy policies.

03What each game collects

رامي الصحراء (Rami Al Sahra – Desert Shooter) has no account or sign-in, no multiplayer or chat, and no in-app purchases. Your level progress and settings are saved only on your device and are removed when you uninstall the game. We never receive them.

Advertising. Rami Al Sahra uses Google AdMob to show ads on iOS and Android. AdMob collects your device's advertising identifier and information about your device, such as its model, operating system and IP address, in order to show and measure ads and prevent fraud. Rami Al Sahra for Android also has its own privacy policy at picoli.uk/rami-al-sahra/privacy.

Saudi Shooter is an online multiplayer game with text and voice chat, still in development. It has its own privacy policy at picoli.uk/saudi-shooter/privacy, and the sections below also describe what it collects.

04Information our online games collect

This section applies to games with online features, such as Saudi Shooter. It does not apply to Rami Al Sahra.

Information you give us. A display name or nickname, an email address if you contact support or create an account, and the content of any message you send us including bug reports and screenshots you choose to attach.

Information collected automatically when you play. A device identifier, device model, operating system version, language and region settings, approximate location derived from your IP address at country level, session length, in-game progress and statistics, and technical logs including crash reports and network diagnostics.

Information from third parties. If you sign in with a platform account such as Google Play Games, we receive the identifiers and profile details that service shares with us. If you make a purchase, the app store confirms the transaction to us. We never receive your full card details.

We do not collect precise GPS location, contacts, photos or browsing history outside our games.

05How we use your information and our lawful bases

For our online games, we use the information above:

• To run the game and its multiplayer services — matchmaking, sessions, leaderboards, saved progress. Lawful basis: performance of our contract with you.
• To keep play fair and accounts secure — detecting cheating, abuse, fraud and unauthorised access. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in a safe and fair service.
• To fix and improve the game — crash diagnostics, performance measurement and aggregated usage statistics. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in improving our products.
• To answer you — responding to support, press and business enquiries. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in responding to correspondence.
• To meet legal obligations — tax, accounting and responding to lawful requests. Lawful basis: compliance with a legal obligation.

We do not sell your personal information.

06Service providers we rely on

We use a small number of established providers to operate our games. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function:

• Google Play services — app distribution, sign-in, purchases and crash reporting on Android.
• Apple App Store — app distribution on iOS.
• Google AdMob — ads in Rami Al Sahra (see Advertising).
• Photon (Exit Games GmbH) — real-time multiplayer networking and matchmaking in Saudi Shooter.
• Unity Technologies — the engine our games are built on, including crash and performance diagnostics.
• Cloud hosting and email providers — running this website and handling correspondence.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend legal claims. If our business is ever sold or restructured, information may transfer to the acquirer under the same protections described here.

07Advertising

Rami Al Sahra shows ads on iOS and Android, served by Google AdMob, an advertising service provided by Google. To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, AdMob automatically collects:

• your device's advertising identifier: on Android, the advertising ID and app set ID; on iPhone and iPad, the IDFA, which AdMob receives only if you allow tracking;
• information about your device, such as its model and operating system version;
• your IP address, which can be used to estimate your general location;
• how you interact with the game and its ads, such as app launches, taps, video views and the ads you have seen;
• diagnostic and performance information, such as crash logs and app launch time.

This information is sent to Google encrypted in transit.

On iPhone and iPad, the game asks for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you do not allow tracking, AdMob does not receive your IDFA.

If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, we ask for your consent through Google's consent message before your data is used for personalised ads. If you do not consent, you may still see non-personalised ads.

You can reset your advertising ID in your Android device's settings, or turn off tracking for apps on iPhone and iPad in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

08Children

Our games are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact privacy@picoli.uk and we will delete it.

Where a game is rated for a general audience, we apply the app store's family policies, including restrictions on advertising and data collection for younger users.

09How long we keep information

• Rami Al Sahra: we keep nothing; your progress stays on your device. Advertising data collected by Google AdMob is kept by Google under its own policy.
• Account and progress data: for as long as your account is active, then up to 30 days after a deletion request is completed.
• Crash and technical logs: up to 12 months.
• Support correspondence: up to 24 months after the case is closed.
• Records we must keep by law, such as purchase and tax records: as long as the law requires, normally six years.

You can ask us to delete your data at any time — see our data deletion page.

10Where your information is stored

We are based in the United Kingdom, and our providers may process data in the UK, the European Economic Area and other countries. Where information leaves the UK or EEA, we rely on adequacy regulations or on standard contractual clauses together with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

11Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege access to the systems that hold player data. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affects your rights we will notify you and the Information Commissioner's Office as required by law.

12Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access a copy of your data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have your data deleted, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@picoli.uk. We will respond within one month. There is no charge unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to address it first.

13Cookies on this website

This website, picoli.uk, does not use cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics. This applies to the website only. Advertising in our games is described in the Advertising section above.

14Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Where a change materially affects your rights we will tell you in-game or by email before it takes effect.
